1582/87 - Orpheus charming the animals with his lyre

Sitting on a rock Orpheus playing a lyre surrounded by animals of earth, sky and water.

The lira da braccio has summarily outlined the body but with side cuts and holes resonance at C and the purfling at the edge; is not highlighted the keyboard while it is properly the tailpiece and the number of the strings (5 singing and 2 bourdon); the pegbox is a leaf.
