1530 - Assumption of the Virgin Mary

On the sides of the Virgin carried to heaven by angels, painted above the arch, two groups of musician angels play string, wind, keyboard and percussion instruments.

Viola at 3-Strings: The tringed instrument, armed with three strings, is played on the shoulder by the angel musician; is partially covered by the angel organist, and you see only the body from the Oval waisted flanks of two large CC; the holes in the soundboard resonance are in C, the bridge at stool and trapezoidal tailpiece; the ribs are perpendicular to the table and at the bottom with no protruding edges.

Lutes at 6 choirs: the large size of both instruments suggest two exemples of bass lute.

Recorder: the size of the instrument makes you think a tenor flute.

Positive organ: it is only hinted in the support foot from which protrudes the keyboard, which corrisponte on the caseback with reeds the bellow operated by an angel. The player, without wings, wears on his head a crown of laurel.

Portative harp: presents an arched column with a feline head on the top that biting the console, the sound box is flat and seems an arbitrary act of the painter, as the only 13 strings.

Tambourine: with cymbals in the crown and a diametral rope "snare" above the skin.

Cornet and triangle: the first instrument, recognizable by the characteristic arching, is played by an angel with a wreath of laurel who also plays the second instrument, characterized by two metal rings of resonance in the lower side, holding it hanging from a rope tied the little finger of his left hand.
