1568/70 - Trophy with angel with viola da gamba

The instrument is painted at the base of the pilaster strip, held up by the angel.

The body of the viola da gamba has not hump and has a sidecut at C; the soundboard is curved, with purfling distant from the edge and has holes of resonance at effe; the bridge is at stool and the trapezoid tailpiece is tied to a big button. The painting does not show the keyboard deviates from the soundboard and has keyboard witn tied keys of entrails; the pegbox is covered by the hand of the angel. The instrument is armed with 6 strings.
