1511 - Marquetry with lira da braccio

The wooden marquetry were commissioned from the artist Soresinese by fra' Giacomino da Botticino.

Posed inside of a shelves, with his bow placed behind the instrument, has only two beaks on his hips; the sound holes at C; the pegbox at leaf with fixtures from behind the 5 pegs to pull on the simple strings of singing passers above the keyboard, and on the left side the 2 free strings of bourdon, all linked at the top of the trapezoid tailpiece and kept raised from the soundboard, between the the CC, from a bridge to "stool".

In another marquetry is the artist's signature and the date of execution of the work.
