Trophy with musical instruments

Decoration of the pilaster right of the arch of the apse towards the top that shows one of the first images existing in Cremona, an instrument of the family of the modern "violin".

The stringed instrument, armed with four strings, has the body shape of the modern viola: the sidecut to CC with beaks, with bulging tables and purfling on the board, the sound holes to ff, the keyboard short renaissance without keys, the pegbox with scroll and posterior heel, the trapezoid tailpiece, bridge at stool and pegs with oval pellet and bead.
