Ferraroni Piero Alfonso

  • He moved to Cremona with his father and he follwed in his father's footsteps as a sculptor. He was a friend of Digiuni, Schiavi e Tatar. Since 1929 he made some instruments inspired to the luthiery tradition of Cremona. He has taught wood carving courses at the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria of Cremona, where he performed the imprint of the sculptures of the harp 1681 of Stradivari, starting to sculpt the neck left unfinished. Moreover, he sculpted the copy of a little positive organ of the Renaissance, preserved in the Museum of the International School of Luthiery of Cremona.
