1568/70 - Trophy with angel trombonist

At the top of pilaster strip an angel playing the trombone with his feet resting on a bass viol. At the bottom, behind the head of an angel holding a shield, there is a lyre.

The trombone is drawn roughly because it shows correctly the bell, without the internal drawstring with his support, and the external drawstring with its handle, on which pipe is inserted the mouthpiece.

Of the bass viol is visible only the lower part of the body, with the button, the tailpiece and the bridge.

The lira, which wants to invoke the tool of the classical era, has a flat foot, the arms coming together at the top where form two scrolls surmounted by a cherub's head.
