1588/90 - Players of lute and cornett and children singers

The painting, which adorns a field of fake open gallery under the ceiling, was put in relation with the frescoes of the Villa Maser.

The lute, played by a woman and roughly outlined, presents an armature 5 course, corresponding to the number of pegs inserted into the pegbox.

The cornett is played by a man.
