1596 - Violin

The belly is of pine, of medium grain. The back is two-piece of medium curl maple, almost horizontal, slightly descending to the right. The ribs are of medium curl maple. The scroll is later, made by the violin maker Fendt, from London (around 1830). The varnish is golden-brown.
