1600/20 - Violin

The front is of spruce, of medium grain widening to the flanks, attributed to Vincenzo Ruggeri (circa 1700-1725). The back is one-piece of maple cut on the slab of medium curl. The ribs are of maple of narrower curl, cut on the quarter. The scroll is of maple, of medium curl. The varnish is red-brown.
