1620 - Viola "Wittgenstein"

The front is of spruce of fine grain, widening to the flanks. The back is two-piece of maple of fine to medium curl, descending to the right. The nose has a seal portraying a female face. The ribs and the scroll are of wood similar tot the back. The varnish is golden-brown.
