Soundboard of spruce to medium grain, which widens slightly toward the flanks. Back of one piece of curly maple with narrow curl descendant to the right, with an original addition in the lower left lobe. Ribs and scroll of curly maple with broad curl. Orange-red-brown varnish on a golden yellow ground.
