1630 c. - Violin

The top is of spruce of fine frain on the treble side, opening on the bass side, and it is attributed to the Amati brothers, dated 1600 circa. The back is one-piece of maple of faint irregular medium curl. The ribs are of radial-cut maple of irregular medium curl. The scroll is of plain maple. The varnish is golden-brown.
