1635 c. - Violin

The top is of spruce of narrow grain at the center opening to the flanks. The back is two-piece of maple of almost horizontal medium curl. The ribs are of maple of medium faint curl, radial cut. The scroll is of wood similar to ribs. The varnish is golden.
