1650/60 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce at medium vein in the center that widens at the flanks; presents a dowel inserted in the left upper lobe (inside in the central part has a bonded reinforcement and there are two manuscripts inscriptions in graffiti: Repair by Laurent 1921 / reparé par Laurent Albert Brussels 1921). Back of one piece of curly maple with curl broad blaze and discontinuous. Ribs of poplar with closer curl. Scroll of maple smooth, attributed to the school of Milan, that in the groove of the board  board has engraved the initials PB. Orange-brown varnish. Inside has linings and dowels of poplar, probably not authentic. The bass bar is marked A. Laurent.
