1684 - Violin "Lord Elphinstone - Veerman"

Soundboard of spruce to narrow vein. Back of two pieces of curly maple with a low medium-narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom. Ribs of maple cut on the slab. Scroll of curly maple at medium curl. Golden varnish.
