1693 - Violin "Specker"

Soundboard of spruce with medium grain in the middle, which narrows true sides. Back of one piece of curly maple with large discontinuous curl, descendant to the left, with painting at the top the noble weapon of family Specker of Basel. Head with original scroll grafted on pegbox of a later period. Golden varnish.
