Back of two pieces of poplar with additions in the lefts lobes; on the junta, at the height of the beaks above, there plugged the hole for hanging the instrument shoulder strap. Ribs of poplar. Scroll of smooth wood, of a little later period and attributed to the school of Turin. Orange-brown varnish.
