1739/76 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce of large vein, which widens towards the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the beck. Scroll of maple smooth. Français (1990) and Machold (2007) have attributed the back and sides at Guarneri del Gesù.
