1740 c. - Violin

Soundboard of spruce to medium grain, thinner toward the center in the treble side and wider in the bass. Back of one piece of curly maple with medium curl descendant to the right. Ribs of curly maple at curl wider than that of the back. Scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Orange-brown-gold varnish on a light ground.
