1747/89 - Violin

Soundboard spruce at medium-fine vein. Back of one piece of curly maple to broad curl descendant to the left. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of curly maple with very faint curl, attributed to Camillo Camilli (c. 1704-1754). Golden-red varnish on a light ground.
