Soundboard of spruce with narrow grain at the center that widens at the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with  horizontal narrow curl. Ribs of curly maple with faint narrow curl. Scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Golden-brown varnish on amber ground.
