1780 c. - Viola

Soundboard of spruce medium grain in the middle which opens towards the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium fine curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll plain maple.  Golden-orange varnish.
