1795 c. - Violin

Soundboard of spruce irregular grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple cut on the slab and of curl medium-large discontinuous, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of plain maple. Orange-brown varnish.
