1786 - Viola d'amore

8-shaped instrument, mounted with six gut strings and six metal strings of sympathy. Back of two-piece curly maple at medium curl almost horizontal, with a slight "hump" at the top and fire brand "LS / CREMONA" on the nose. Brown light varnish.
