1829 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with fine vein that widens at the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple cut on the slab and  medium-marrow curl discontinuous, glued in a herringbone with vertex at the top. Ribs and scroll of curly maple with medium curl. Golden-brown varnish.
