1710 - Cello "Gore-Booth - Rothschild"

Soundboard of spruce to medium grain, that widens at the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Golden-orange varnish.
