1613 - Alto viola (reduced)

The instrument is probably a tenor viola reduced in dimensions. The front is two-piece of spruce of medium grain, with many fractures: 4 in the upper right bout, 4 in the lower left bout and 5 in the lower right bout. In the upper left bout, there is a trapezoidal block of different wood. Two little fractures are near the left f-hole. The back is two pice of maple, of irregular curl, cut on the slab. The nose and the upper boards are not original. There is a fracture in the lower left rib.
