Back of two pieces of curly maple tangential shear,  with curl glued herringbone with apex at the top, and an addition in the right upper lobe. In the left upper lobe there is an obvious node. At the center of the board there is a hole (plugged) for the insertion of the hook attached to the cord put around the neck by the musician playing standing. Nose redone, as a portion of the upper edge of the right C, above which there is a fracture. Other fractures in the right lower lobe, while in the left lower lobe there are signs of repaired attacks of wood-eating insects. Ribs obtained from different pieces of maple, posing many fractures in both sides. Scroll not flamed maple, and the pegbox is partly altered, the heel of the volute is cracked across. Original varnish remaining red- brown.
